Granite Pass offers primary and backup servicing and administration capabilities to third-party loan/lease originators. Portfolio administration is supported by proprietary structured finance technology. As a member of the Capital Markets Operations team, the Senior Analyst plays a crucial role in handling day-to-day program administration and reporting with a focus on best-in-class client satisfaction. This position is in our Ft. Worth, TX office and reports to the Director of Capital Markets Operations.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Analyst will support securitization activities, generate reports, maintain financial reporting, and collaborate with leadership teams. Duties will include:
- Assist with new client onboarding
- Reconcile daily collateral roll forwards and prepare client recommendations to maximize liquidity in the borrowing base
- Lead settlement close processes for capital market activities
- Analyze and validate results by proactively researching and resolving discrepancies
- Provide recommendations for system and process improvements
- Assist with QA testing of system enhancements and changes as needed
- Respond to client questions with code explanations and documentation
- Prepare presentations for and lead client change review meetings in coordination with staff developers
- Actively manage projects, providing hands-on project management to ensure timely and successful completion of initiatives
- Provide thorough communication and results analysis to leadership
- Provide additional overall support for the Capital Markets and Treasury departments
Education and Professional Experience
- BS/BA in Finance/Business Administration; advanced degree (MBA, MS Finance) preferred
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning, modeling, business analysis, accounting or similar
- SQL proficiency strongly preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft 365, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Competencies
Knowledge of lease and loan servicing strongly preferred
- Technical aptitude for systems and data management
- Experience in Capital Markets or Treasury Services a plus
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with peers and management at all levels of an organization
