Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners provide primary healthcare services in a medical setting within a correctional facility. Responsibilities may include:
- Evaluating and treating patients with acute and chronic medical conditions
- Developing treatment plans
- Ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and other medical evaluations
- Providing routine follow-up care and health assessments
- Coordinating care with specialists and outside healthcare providers, as needed
- Responding to urgent medical needs within the facility
Travel & Relocation Options:
Lodging and relocation per diem allocations may be available to those who qualify. Travel Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner compensation packages are offered where applicable.
