The HCM Payroll Specialist is responsible for providing world-class service and support to clients. They retain and strengthen client relationships by providing full-picture solutions and best practice management. The HCM Payroll Specialist will leverage technology to ensure clients see a return on their investment by providing in all areas of the system and influencing clients to utilize system best practices to align with employee usage strategies.
HCM Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:

Ensure payrolls are processed with high accuracy

Manage and build relationships with clients via phone and e-mail

Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve a high volume of client inquiries received through both phone and e-mail while anticipating additional questions and needs

Provide proactive service and consultation to maximize client employee usage and overall system utilization

Contribute to client retention and satisfaction through timely follow-up and completion of issues

Determine appropriate resources necessary for each client inquiry and issue resolution

Coordinate with internal staff and higher-level specialists as needed to resolve client projects and utilize best practices

Enter relevant information into the CRM system after each contact to ensure quality data to enable effective client retention

Actively engage in continuous learning and self-improvement to complete required training programs, enhance system knowledge and stay up to date on legislation impacting clients

Become proficient assisting clients with additional modules of isolved: TimeAttendance/PTO, HRISOnboarding, Journal Entries, etc.
Payroll Specialist Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of working in a client service/customer service environment

Comfortable learning new web-based programs that assist in serving our clients, as security and efficiency needs continually change in the payroll industry.

Experience with a web-based operating system such as isolved

Excellent analytical and time management skills

Ability to work both independently to provide solutions to the client and as part of a team to accomplish tasks

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) for a professional client-facing experience

Proficient using Microsoft Office

Highly motivated individual that is a self-starter in a fast-paced environment that is continually changing

Associates Degree
-
FPC, CPP and/or SHRM certifications preferred but not required
