The Bistro Attendant is responsible for providing guests with warm, engaging, and efficient service in the Courtyard Bistro. This role combines food preparation, beverage service (including Starbucks® products and alcoholic beverages), and cashier/guest service responsibilities to ensure a seamless and welcoming dining experience. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, deliver exceptional hospitality, and maintain Marriott brand standards.
Greet all guests promptly with a friendly, professional demeanor, ensuring Courtyard’s hospitality standards are consistently upheld.
Prepare and serve food and beverage items, including Starbucks® coffee drinks, cocktails, beer, and wine, according to standardized recipes and brand standards.
Accurately take guest orders, enter them into the POS system, and process payments.
Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and promotions to effectively answer guest questions and provide recommendations.
Set up, stock, and maintain the Bistro, including food prep stations, beverage stations, and service areas, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards.
Assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating food and beverage supplies.
Follow Marriott’s standards for food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness at all times.
Balance cash drawer and reconcile daily transactions accurately.
Provide support to fellow team members, ensuring smooth operations across shifts.
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
