Objective:
We are seeking an experienced veterinary receptionist with positive attitude, reliability, great teamwork and client / patient care skills. Concurrent basic veterinary assistant skills are also desired, but not required.

Job Description:
As a Client Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for every visitor to our hospital. Your responsibilities will include managing the front desk, scheduling appointments, handling client inquiries, and supporting our veterinary team with administrative tasks to ultimately provide excellent patient care, and ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital.

Expected Hours:
30-40 hours / week
Schedule:
M-F, Day Shifts, Saturdays as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for veterinary services.
- Maintain accurate client and patient records.
- Checking in patients, process payments and manage billing inquiries.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure the reception area and the exam rooms are clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Prepare exam rooms ensuring they are clean and well-stocked.
- Educate pet owners on general pet care and preventive health measures
- Maintain accurate patient records and update client information and patient reminders.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in veterinary assisting is preferred.
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is a must. Interest and experience with brachycephalic breeds is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to the team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments with care and compassion.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with computer systems and office software. Experience with Covetrus Pulse is a plus
- A strong commitment to animal welfare and a desire to learn and grow in the veterinary field.
