American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel contract requiring MICU experience, Level 1 trauma background, and an NC or Compact RN license in hand.

Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) in a hospital setting

Adult and geriatric patient population

Patient ratio of 1:2
-
Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)

Approximately 6 weekend shifts per 8-week schedule, subject to staffing needs
-
Floating to adult inpatient areas based on census and staffing needs
-
13-week contract
-
Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand
-
Required certifications in hand: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS; CPI can be completed onsite if not currently held
-
Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience preferred; less may be considered

MICU experience required
-
Level 1 trauma experience required
-
One supervisory professional reference from within the last year required for consideration
-
Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at a reduced pay rate

Royal blue scrubs required

Flu vaccine is mandatory from October 31 through March 31 with no exemptions accepted
