Job Overview
We are a small business seeking a dependable and flexible Production Worker to assist with assembly, inventory management, and seasonal shipping support. This position is ideal for someone who works well independently, can stay focused during repetitive tasks, and is comfortable in a hands-on work environment.
Hours are flexible between 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (up to 20 hours per week), with opportunities for increased hours during our peak season from October through mid-December. Preferred availability is 4-5 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Assist with product assembly and production tasks
- Support inventory organization and management
- Help with packaging and limited shipping duties during busy seasons
- Move and organize pallets and inventory as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow instructions from the Production Supervisor
- Complete repetitive tasks with attention to detail and consistency
Qualifications
- Willingness to use basic hand tools including hammers, drills, screwdrivers, and pliers (no previous experience required)
- Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs
- Ability to remain focused during repetitive tasks
- Comfortable sitting or standing for extended periods of time
- Ability to move pallets and materials safely
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Schedule
- Part-time position (up to 20 hours per week)
- Flexible hours between 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday-Friday)
- Preferred availability is 4-5 days per week
- Weekend hours not required
- Additional hours may be available during peak season (October–mid December)
Work Environment
This role involves hands-on production work in a small business environment. Some tasks may require repetitive motion, heavy lifting, and extended standing periods.
