Responsibilities:
- Dispense medication, pick up and implement orders from Psychiatrist & Medical Doctors.
- Ensure medication compliance and medical chart maintenance.
- Conduct physical screenings of children.
- Coordinate medical appointments.
- Make appointments for outside services as indicated, check progress notes.
- Prepare list for infection control, order medical supplies.
- Assist in crisis intervention and recreational activities.
- Participate in behavior management system.
- Transport residents as assigned by supervisor.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma, Associates Degree or above preferred.
- Current NY State LPN Certification required.
- Experience with the population of the program is preferred.
- Acceptable background clearance, including fingerprinting.
- LPN currently licensed by the New York State Education Department.
- Proof of vaccinations required.
