Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse/Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in a retail environment. Learn all merchandise to be able to provide customers with detailed information of all merchandise use.
Responsibilities
-Must be able to carry 50 LB bags of feed
-Work in hot warehouse outside
-Learn livestock feeds and all merchandise in the store
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with their inquiries and purchases
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
-Inventory
- Stock shelves and merchandise as needed
- Utilize upselling techniques to increase sales revenue
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
-Be able to work during the week as well as weekends
Skills
- Proficiency in using a cash register and handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of retail math for calculating prices, discounts, and change
- Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Basic math skills for accurate transactions
- Ability to sell products effectively and utilize upselling techniques
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues efficiently
Pay: $12.00 per hour
