We are seeking a Lead Infant Teacher to guide our Infant classroom (6 weeks–12 months) and mentor assistant teachers while providing a warm, safe, and developmentally appropriate environment for our babies and families.
- Create a nurturing, responsive environment that supports infant development and secure attachments
- Lead daily classroom routines, lesson planning, and care schedules
- Mentor and support assistant teachers in the Infant room
- Observe, document, and communicate each child’s development and milestones
- Build strong partnerships with families through daily communication and a mobile app
- Maintain licensing, health, and safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with leadership and fellow teachers to ensure classroom success
- Experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or early learning setting
- Previous lead teacher or leadership experience preferred
- CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or working toward) preferred
- Strong understanding of infant development and best practices
- Calm, nurturing demeanor with strong communication skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
