Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Spanish-speaking Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Technician Assistant (BTA) to join our team. In this vital role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental and neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders, to promote positive behavior change and skill development. Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or licensed professional
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene, fostering independence and confidence
- Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses accurately during therapy sessions to inform treatment adjustments
- Support clients in developing communication skills using verbal or alternative methods, tailored to each individual’s needs
- Help manage behaviors through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques aligned with ethical guidelines such as the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, medical records, and care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency across therapy environments, including home-based settings
Qualifications
- Fluent in Spanish with excellent verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly preferred
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management, and special education strategies
- Experience assisting with ADLs and implementing behavior intervention plans effectively
- Ability to collect data meticulously and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with HIPAA standards
- Compassionate attitude towards children and individuals with disabilities; patience is essential
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices related to behavioral health is a plus
- Previous home-based behavioral experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided as needed

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
