- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling
- Assist customers with product demos, upselling items to enhance their purchase and satisfaction
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is clean, welcoming, and well-merchandised
- Manage retail math tasks such as calculating totals, discounts, and change accurately using basic math skills
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support inventory management by stocking products and conducting periodic stock checks to ensure product availability
- Assist customers at bakery counter and serve products
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or store environments with POS systems and cashiering duties
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
- Familiarity with retail store product knowledge and merchandising techniques
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively
- Strong communication skills to engage confidently with customers and team members
- Experience in upselling, product demos, and providing outstanding customer service is advantageous
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales transactions will help you excel in this energetic role
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time and bring a positive attitude to the fast-paced work environment
