Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Front End Wheel Bucket Loader Operator to join our team. In this vital role, you will operate front-end wheel loaders equipped with buckets & Forks to efficiently load Cottonseed, unload semi trucks on a truck dump, move, couple and uncouple rail cars and assist in various maintenance projects. Your expertise will help ensure smooth operations on a busy job site, contributing to the timely completion of loading rail car while maintaining safety and precision at all times. You must hold a valid Drivers License, pass frequent drug test and attend machine operator safety training meetings. Workers must keep a bank account to receive direct deposit. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment and be an integral part of our transloading operations.
Duties
- Operate front-end wheel bucket loaders safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials around job site.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment, perform minor maintenance, and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Support the operation of other heavy machinery including truck dump, and aerial man lifts as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and others.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy construction equipment including loaders, truck dumps and aerial man lifts.
- Proven experience operating front-end wheel loaders in a industrial setting with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Familiarity with Caterpillar (CAT) equipment models and controls is highly desirable
- Ability to perform basic maintenance checks and troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly
- Knowledge of industrial site safety standards and procedures
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors
