We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Director of Housekeeping to lead and elevate our cleaning operations across our hospitality facilities. <Responsibilities>
- Develop and implement comprehensive housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards aligned with hospitality industry best practices.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of housekeeping supervisors and staff to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality cleaning services.
- Oversee daily cleaning operations across all guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and specialized cleaning projects such as industrial or deep-cleaning tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness levels, safety compliance, and maintenance needs; provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate staffing schedules, training programs, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and staff development.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement processes to support seamless operations.
<Skills>
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or similar hospitality environments with a strong understanding of industry standards.
- Extensive janitorial experience with expertise in cleaning techniques, floor care (including carpet cleaning and polishing), and industrial cleaning methods.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, delegate tasks effectively, and foster a positive work environment.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of custodial best practices, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements related to hospitality cleaning operations.
