Summary:
Performs radiographic procedures of various portions of the body to assist in the detection and diagnosis of disease or other identifiable pathology, under the direction of an ordering physician and direct supervision of a licensed practitioner.
Minimum Education:
a. Completed at least one (1) year of clinical training in a two (2) year accredited radiography educational program
Minimum Work Experience:
a. Successful completion of the competency-based clinical training modules: chest and abdomen, extremities, skull and sinuses, and spine
b. Current BCLS or Healthcare Provider CPR certification
c. G.X.M.O. licensure by the State of Ohio
Required Skills and Knowledge:
a. Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity
b. Meets the requirements of Ohio Administrative Code 3701-72
c. Willing to work with patients aged from neonates to geriatric
d. Willingness to pursue continuing education
