Pommy's Metal Fabrication is looking for a Shop Helper to join our team. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to start or grow a career in metal fabrication.
Responsibilities
■ Assist welders with fabrication and assembly
■ Grind, clean, and prep metal for welding
■ Measure and cut materials accurately
■ Load, unload, and move materials and equipment ■ Maintain a clean and organized work area
■ Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE ■ Perform other shop duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements
■ Ability to use a tape measure accurately
■ Basic knowledge of power tools and hand tools ■ Reliable transportation to the shop and job sites ■ Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
■ Basic knowledge of metal fabrication
■ Basic math skills
■ Willingness to learn and an open-minded attitude ■ Punctual and dependable
