Job Description
Drafting, presenting, and updating training materials, records, and guidance to ensure personnel meet standards and maintain qualifications. Additional resources may be required as the training system evolves
Developing and maintaining training databases and records for all ALC employees (military, civil service, and contractors as required), providing updated training records to the Workforce Management Staff (WMS)
Reviewing training records systematically to determine personnel qualifications and currency IAW ALCINST 5224.4 for both military and civil service employees
Assisting WMS with onboarding new (military, civil services, and contractors as required) employees by coordinating training data and necessary qualification courses
Monitoring training requirements and notifying personnel sixty (60) days before any certification, licensing, or training expiration
Scheduling classroom training courses and ensuring computer-based training is accessible during normal working hours
Maintaining training databases and supporting audit teams with required data
Reviewing and recommending updates to ALCINSTS, syllabi, and standardization check forms in line with Commandant and ALC policies
Scheduling training presenters as specified by ALC and recommending additional training topics for approval
Ensuring classroom logistics are managed before and after courses
Facilitating and presenting course material on general ALC and USCG topics when a presenter is unavailable
Maintaining records for pilots, aircrews, and employees (military, civilian, and contractor), including maintenance qualifications.
Scheduling all training requirements IAW Commandant and ALCINSTs, including COMDTINST M3710.1
Receiving and transferring personnel training records
Assisting the UTO in managing and resolving customer complaints
Conducting an annual review of legal and other requirements to ensure training curriculum remains current, recommending updates as needed

Desired Skills
One (1) year experience in USCG procedures to include proficiency in using:
Aviation Logistics Management Information System (ALMIS)
Asset Maintenance Management Information System (AMMIS)
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience supporting training programs
