Last Mile Supervisor
Schedule:
Thursday - Monday.
2nd Shift – 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
We are seeking a full-time Hub/Final Mile Supervisor to supervise sort/delivery/distribution operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The Supervisor is responsible for supporting the execution and performance of the sort operation, including staffing, customer relations, performance and the overall operation.
This position requires a results-oriented, high-energy, dynamic individual with the stamina and mental agility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth delivery network.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Develop a solid understanding of the business scope.
· Cultivate and sustain a safe environment, high-quality customer delivery, professional driver experience, and a positive culture.
· Delivering in a timely and accurate manner packages to recipients
· Monitoring, verifying, communicating responding to and acting upon the information generated from packages out for delivery as well as responding in a timely manner to requests for information or inquiries from internal and external sources
· Following up on service issues, finding solutions and achieving resolution, closing out delivery day
· Building an operation that is capable of exceeding KPI’s, increasing volume and producing a profit
· Excellent communication skills with all levels of management and staff will be imperative.
· Manage and develop 3rd party vendors, providing objectives & challenging opportunities to advance the company’s Final Mile efforts
· Assist in the recruitment and development of staff.
· Ensure that practices, policies and procedures are enforced and consistently implemented.
· Schedule and participate in negotiations with Vendors, Contractors and Service Providers to secure best value/service standards are met.
· Active involvement in learning and reviewing P&L performance ensuring decisions and practices coincide with budgetary goals.
· Establish effective communication and relationships with customers to ensure performance measurements and goals are understood and achieved, and that new business opportunities are capitalized upon.
· Drive initiatives that contribute to long-term excellence.
· Responsible for compliance with Local, Federal and State legislation pertaining to personnel, equipment, vehicle and building matters.
· Coordinates, resolves, and responds to issues as they pertain to the Operations Performance.
· Other duties and tasks as assigned.
In addition to a robust skillset that includes the ability to work independently, problem-solve and communicate effectively, the ideal candidate will possess:
· 2 years of supervisor and leadership experience in an industrial setting
· Experience with small package pickup and delivery is a must.
· Must be very flexible with shift start times as well as days worked, including holidays.
· Experience with small parcel, receiving, processing, sorting, and shipping operations.
· Ability to rain, coach, and mentor warehouse associates and drivers.
· Proven experience in providing high levels of customer service to internal and external customers

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
