North Texas (Dallas–Fort Worth Area)
Position Summary
A confidential industrial materials processing operation is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead all aspects of a high-production aggregate processing facility in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
This is not a traditional maintenance or superintendent role. We are looking for a proven leader who thrives in complex startup environments, understands how to stabilize underperforming operations, and is willing to be a true boots-on-the-ground leader. The successful candidate will drive safety, production, maintenance, quality, and continuous improvement while building a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience operating and commissioning wash plants, crushing and screening operations, and heavy industrial processing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead all day-to-day site operations with full responsibility for safety, production, maintenance, quality, and financial performance.
· Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
· Manage startup, optimization, and continuous improvement of wash plant operations.
· Supervise plant personnel, contractors, and support staff while building a culture of accountability and ownership.
· Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand while maximizing efficiency.
· Monitor operating costs and identify opportunities to improve productivity and profitability.
· Ensure compliance with all environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
· Troubleshoot operational issues quickly and implement long-term corrective actions.
· Maintain high housekeeping and operational standards throughout the facility.
· Collaborate with executive leadership on capital improvements, operational strategy, and future expansion.
Qualifications
· 10+ years of aggregate, mining, quarry, or heavy industrial processing experience.
· Previous experience managing wash plants, crushing, screening, or similar material processing operations.
· Demonstrated success leading plant startups, turnarounds, or major operational improvements.
· Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of conveyors, pumps, screens, crushers, dewatering systems, and material handling equipment.
· Experience leading maintenance planning and preventative maintenance programs.
· Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop and retain high-performing teams.
· Strong budgeting, scheduling, and operational planning experience.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
· Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced operating environment.
Preferred Experience
· Aggregate or mining operations.
· Wash plant optimization.
· Equipment commissioning and startup.
· Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
· Heavy equipment fleet management.
· Process optimization and production planning.
