We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Construction Estimator to join our team. If you have a background in heavy civil construction, site development, and preparing competitive estimates, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do
As a Civil Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a wide range of horizontal site development projects. Working closely with project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and company leadership, you'll play a critical role in securing new work and supporting successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Review construction plans, specifications, and bid documents.
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
- Prepare accurate and competitive project bids.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
- Analyze labor, equipment, and material costs.
- Coordinate with project management and operations throughout the estimating process.
- Identify value engineering opportunities while maintaining quality and project objectives.
Experience We Are Looking For
Candidates should have estimating experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Site development
- Land clearing
- Earthwork and grading
- Stormwater pond construction
- Underground drainage
- Water, sewer, and reclaimed water utility installation
- Roadway construction
- Concrete curb and gutter
- Sidewalk construction
Qualifications
- Experience estimating civil construction or site development projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and time management abilities.
- Experience with Agtek and HCSS software is preferred but not required.
