Requirements:
- Texas Property and Casualty TDI License
- Pass Background Check
- Complete Rollo Insurance Group's Development Program (paid by branch)
- 3-day in-person training in College Station specifically for Commercial Insurance
- 90-day program (webinars and self-paced courses)
Preferred:
- Three years of Property and Casualty insurance experience
- Experience working with Applied Epic Agency Management Software
- Will consider a hybrid office/home if the candidate is an expert in Applied Epic
- Bilingual / Spanish
Summary:
Rollo Insurance Group is an independent insurance agency with 50+ brick-and-mortar branches across multiple states. The person who fills this position would work at the branch location in Bertram, Tx. Normal working hours would be Monday through Friday, 8- 4 p.m. The Commercial Account Manager (CAM) would work directly with clients and support sales agents (producers). The primary role of the CAM is Client Experience. The CAM would utilize advanced computer software and would need to be digitally proficient. Other duties would be entering quotes into multiple carrier systems, working with underwriters, and preparing quote proposals for sales agents. After a policy is sold, the CAM would audit it as part of our Quality Assurance efforts. The CAM would also use Rollo’s R.E.A.L. Renewal Process to service all commercial policies at this branch. Secondary responsibilities would be assisting and working with the Personal Lines Account Manager.
Job Purpose
The Commercial Account Manager performs the following: which includes aiding the Account Executives and clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts. Specific service and marketing are required for this position. Meets service and/or sales standards and performs essential functions to the quality and service standards developed by the Account Executive and/or agency.
Primary Objectives:
- Provides technical support to Account Executives, specifically in analyzing the client needs, coverage forms and quotations.
- Occasionally accompanies Account Executives on prospect and client meetings as requested.
- Completes applications in coordination with Account Executives, submits applications to eligible and appropriate carriers; follows up to ensure timely receipt of quotation and policies.
- Orders and issues binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and other related items; verifies their accuracy; forwards them to client with appropriate correspondence.
- Determines if direct or agency billing is appropriate and invoices accordingly.
- Prepares summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals for word processing as needed.
- Processes renewals in coordination with Account Executives according to agency procedures.
- Reviews audits of policies; verifies accuracy and facilitates corrections, as needed, between the client and carrier.
- Verifies policy and policy change information, facilitating corrections when necessary.
- Processes incoming mail and phone requests, responding promptly and appropriately.
- Uses agency credit and collection policy in invoicing and pursuing prompt payments; requests cancellations from the carrier according to agency standards.
- Determines reasons for requests of cancellation; acts to save accounts, notifies Account Executives.
- Process and follow up on cancellation requests to carriers to ensure accurate and timely resolution.
- Assists clients in submitting first reports of claims, facilitates prompt response from carrier staff and follows up on claims status according to agency procedures.
- Identifies exposure to loss and recommends coverage in coordination with Account Executive
- Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.
- Maintains a cordial and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, and other business contacts.
- Keeps informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.
- Interacts with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the agency.
