Now Hiring Barbacks & Food Runners – Full & Part-Time
Chillingham’s Steak is looking for hardworking, dependable, and team-oriented individuals to join our front-of-house team as Barbacks and Food Runners. These positions are essential to delivering a smooth dining experience and supporting our bartenders, servers, and kitchen team during busy service periods.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food quickly and accurately from the kitchen to guests
- Assist bartenders with stocking beer, liquor, wine, mixers, ice, and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and bar areas
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, servers, and management
- Assist with table maintenance and guest needs when appropriate
- Help with opening, closing, and side work duties
- Ensure food is presented accurately and professionally before leaving the kitchen
- Keep service areas stocked, clean, and ready for service
Qualifications
- Restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout a shift
- Nights, weekends, and holiday availability preferred
