Coordinate the planning, organizing and details of bocce leagues and tournaments.
Teach guests and customers the game of bocce and ensure policies and procedures are followed to ensure efficient operation of lane rental and guarantee guest satisfaction.
No prior training or skills needed except the desire to succeed.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Assist with and/or develop, plan and carry out bocce marketing, advertising and promotional activities and campaigns in relation to league, tournament and walk-in bocce play with the assistance and cooperation of the Marketing department.
Coordinate and set up all major Bocce tournaments, team recruitment, bracket set up and tournament logistics (registration packets, scorecards, bracket boards, merchandise, payment of entry fees, etc).
Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given a superior, responsive, friendly and courteous service experience.
Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
Ensure that facility and all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the company’s preventative maintenance programs.
Perform or assist with other duties to ensure the fluid operation of the organization as assigned by director.
Be a minimum of 16 years of age.
Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s trading area.
Be an expert player and knowledgeable of the game of bocce and be able to completely and clearly explain, teach, and coach the game.
Have knowledge of service and food and beverage, generally involving at least six months of front-of-the-house operations and/or assistant management positions.
Possess excellent basic math skills, superior writing skills, and the ability to operate Word, Excell, and Outlook programs as well as basic POS system operation.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Must have the stamina to work 50 to 60 hours per week.
