Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, licensed Hybrid School Psychologist to support students in the Kennewick , WA area for the full upcoming 2026-2027 school year. You are required to be on site 2 weeks every month. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting students' academic, emotional, and behavioral success. You will collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to design and implement effective intervention strategies.If you are passionate about helping students thrive and want to work in a supportive, collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply.
Core Responsibilities
- Assessments: Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine special education eligibility.
- IEP Collaboration: Serve as a core member of multidisciplinary teams to develop and review IEP and 504 plans.
- Student Support: Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and social-skills training.
- Consultation: Partner with teachers and parents on behavioral interventions and academic accommodations.
- Systems Support: Help guide Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and positive behavioral frameworks.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate records in compliance with Washington State OSPI regulations and federal IDEA laws.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctorate degree in School Psychology.
- Licensure: Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certificate with a School Psychologist endorsement (or immediate eligibility to obtain one).
- Knowledge: Proficiency with standard assessment instruments (e.g., WISC-V, Woodcock-Johnson).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for translating complex data into actionable steps.
