Job Description:
Laser Templator will visit homes to take precise countertop measurements with a laser device. After capturing measurements, transfer them from the laser device into a CAD program. No experience? We will train you.
Responsibilities:
- Use CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) to draft precise kitchen countertop layouts.
- Convert laser templates into detailed fabrication drawings.
- Prepare and program layouts for CNC saw cutting.
- Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and project managers.
- Maintain and update drawing templates and libraries.
- Revise and update drawings as needed.
- Ensure drawings meet accuracy and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD required; SolidWorks a plus).
- Experience in countertop, cabinetry, or millwork drafting preferred.
- Understanding of CNC programming and fabrication processes a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
