We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for managing daily jobsite activities, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring quality workmanship throughout all phases of construction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day construction activities on assigned projects.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with plans and specifications.
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Communicate project progress, issues, and solutions with project managers and ownership.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with local building codes.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, job logs, and project documentation.
- Identify and resolve field issues to minimize project delays.
- Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and workforce scheduling.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and/or residential construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
