Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their dining or nightlife experience
- Manage cash handling, billing, and checkout processes with precision using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Monitor guest consumption levels responsibly, adhering to alcohol service laws
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators for banquet or catering services when required
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and promote sales of beverages and specials
- Ensure compliance with all food safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, including fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings
- Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and making accurate change
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as banquets or catering functions
- Previous experience in beverage serving, brewing knowledge, or retail math is a plus
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for upscale hospitality environments
