Schedule: 48 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
Position Summary
Tennessee Shine Co. is seeking an experienced, energetic, and results-driven Store Manager to lead one of our retail locations. This is a working management position, meaning managers actively participate in day-to-day store operations while leading and developing their team. The Store Manager is responsible for creating exceptional customer experience, achieving sales goals, maintaining operational excellence, and building a positive team culture.
We are looking for leaders with 2+ years of customer service management experience who are passionate about hospitality, employee development, and delivering outstanding results.
Essential Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead by example through exceptional customer service and professionalism.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new employees for your store.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members through ongoing training and performance feedback.
- Create a positive, motivating, and accountable work environment.
- Conduct employee evaluations and address performance concerns promptly.
- Promote teamwork, communication, and employee engagement.
- Ensure proper staffing levels and scheduling to meet business demands.
Store Operations
- Serve as a working manager by assisting with daily sales floor responsibilities.
- Open and close the store according to company procedures.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all safety, security, and operational standards are consistently followed.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Sales & Performance
- Meet or exceed established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including:
- Sales goals
- Conversion rates
- Average transaction value
- Customer satisfaction
- Payroll management
- Labor efficiency
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics.
- Develop action plans to improve store performance.
- Drive sales through coaching, promotions, and exceptional customer service.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Place inventory orders based on business needs.
- Monitor product movement and identify slow-moving inventory.
- Minimize inventory shrink through proper controls and accountability.
- Conduct routine inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Ensure merchandise is properly stocked and displayed.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Complete required reports accurately and on time.
- Monitor labor costs while maintaining service standards.
- Communicate effectively with corporate departments.
- Ensure compliance with company cash handling procedures.
- Maintain accurate employee documentation as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of customer service management experience required.
- Previous retail management experience preferred.
- Experience with hiring, coaching, and developing employees.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to analyze sales reports and performance metrics.
- Inventory management and ordering experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Schedule Expectations
This is a salaried working manager position requiring approximately 48 hours per week. Managers are expected to work alongside their team during peak business periods, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, while maintaining flexibility to meet the operational needs of the business.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
