Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering goods to customers while also supporting warehouse operations through manual handling, loading, and unloading shipments. Duties
- Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Load, unload, and organize products using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Deliver goods directly to customers’ locations, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
- Assist with warehouse operations by moving inventory, stacking pallets, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
- Use mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication with the team.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with all regulations.
- Follow safe lifting practices during heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries and promote workplace safety.
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred.
- Proven delivery driver experience, especially with box trucks or personal vehicle delivery.
- Knowledge of commercial truck driving, route planning, and adherence to traffic laws is essential.
- Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or similar tools is a plus.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining safe practices.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and weight handling in the workplace.
- Strong customer service skills combined with effective communication abilities using mobile devices or other technology tools.
