Duties
- Assist with food setup, presentation, and service to ensure a high-quality guest experience
- Support catering operations by preparing ingredients, plating dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in food handling areas
- Serve guests efficiently and courteously, managing food and beverage delivery with a focus on hospitality
- Buss tables and clear service areas promptly to maintain a tidy environment during events
- Engage with guests to foster positive relations and address any special requests or needs
- Help with event logistics such as setting up tables, chairs, and buffet stations according to event specifications
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is highly preferred; culinary or restaurant experience is a plus
- Strong guest services skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special event days
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Experience with catering, banquet service, or hotel food service is advantageous
- Basic knowledge of coffee service or beverage preparation is a bonus
