Schedule/Shift: 12-hour AWS (Alternate Work Schedule) + overtime as needed

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to support semiconductor manufacturing operations in a Class 100 cleanroom environment. In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and improve production equipment to ensure high performance, quality, and uptime.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues, identifying root causes of failures
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) according to schedule and established procedures (MMM)
- Accurately document all maintenance activities and equipment performance in tracking systems
- Collect and record operational data, as required
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Leadership to:
- Improve KPIs and equipment performance
- Increase tool uptime and availability
- Reduce PM cycle times and wafer scrap
- Enhance procedures, quality, and overall efficiency
- Support training and certification of maintenance team members
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance:
- Vacuum, Photolithography (Photo), or Wet/Plating technologies
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Solid understanding of failure analysis and root cause problem-solving
- Working knowledge of control systems and/or PLCs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and tracking systems
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed
Preferred Technical Experience
Experience with one or more of the following:
- Vacuum Systems: PVD, CVD, Sputter (Balzers, Veeco, Anelva, etc.)
- Deposition / Ion Mill: Veeco IBE, DLC 350, RF350, RF240
- Etch Systems: Asher, Hitachi, Matrix
- Wet Processing: Plating (NiFe, MLO), SRD, NMT, Resist Strip, Chemical Etch
- CMP: Ebara, Strausbaugh, Disco
- Photolithography / Metrology: ASML, TEL, Canon, Nikon, KLA, FEI SEM
Education & Background (Highly Preferred)
- Technical degree in Electronics or related field
- Military technical training (electronic/mechanical)
- ASE certification
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing (IC, disk, solar, etc.)
