Job Opening: K3 Teacher Assistant for 2026 – 2027 school year. We are looking for a passionate, kind, creative, and committed Teacher Assistant to join our team. Candidates with Bachelor's degree and prior experience preferred. Teacher assistant candidates who are practicing Catholics preferred. The Charleston Catholic School is a PreK – 8 grade school in downtown Charleston, SC.
Position Overview: Assistant teachers work closely with the lead teacher to prepare and teach daily lessons, provide a safe environment for children to learn and play, and follow DSS and school guidelines and expectations. Duties include maintaining rosters and tracking sheets, assisting with redirecting behavior issues, supervising play time, and working collectively with fellow teachers and parents.
