Are you passionate about powersports and skilled in finance? American Powersports in Findlay is seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join our high-performing team. This is a key leadership role in our dealership, where you'll work closely with customers, lenders, and our top-tier sales team to provide exceptional service and maximize revenue through effective finance and insurance (F&I) operations.
- Present financing and aftermarket product options (warranties, protection plans, GAP, etc.) to customers in a clear and compliant manner
- Work with multiple lenders to secure financing and ensure competitive offerings
- Accurately complete all finance-related paperwork and contracts in accordance with federal, state, and dealership regulations
- Review credit applications, evaluate creditworthiness, and structure deals that align with lender requirements and dealership goals
- Maintain and grow relationships with banking and lending institutions
- Collaborate with sales staff to ensure a smooth transition from sales to finance
- Help ensure inventory, pricing and retail promotions are accurately advertised and cohesive across all platforms and departments
- Ensure every customer has a positive experience and a full understanding of their financing options
- Occasionally support floor operations during peak times (e.g., weekend sales, trade-in evaluations, or desk deals)
- Track performance metrics and strive to meet and exceed monthly finance department targets
- Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and drive repeat business through excellent service and retention tools
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Finance Manager in a dealership setting (automotive, powersports, RV, or marine preferred)
- Knowledge of lender guidelines and credit decisioning
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Proficiency with finance software and dealership CRM tools
- Valid driver's license
