Dayton Rogers is seeking an experienced Punch Press Setup Operator to set up, adjust, and operate punch press equipment while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.

Set up and adjust punch presses for production runs.

Install and align punches, dies, tooling, and fixtures.

Operate manual and automatic punch press equipment.

Read and interpret blueprints, job cards, and work instructions.

Measure finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.

Troubleshoot setup and operational issues.

Inspect parts and identify quality concerns.

Complete required production and inspection documentation.

Communicate production and quality issues to supervisors and engineering.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

1+ year of related experience in metal stamping, machining, or press operation.

Experience with progressive die stamping or similar metal-forming operations preferred.

Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment.

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.

Regular 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Shift assignment is based on production needs and will be determined at the time of hire.

Employees hired for 2nd shift will train on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift. Training length varies based on position and employee progress.

Overtime may be available based on production demands but is not guaranteed or scheduled in advance.
