Responsibilities as a Lift Operator:
- Maneuver around trees with the lift
- Go up in the bucket that could be 60-70 feet high
- Operate chainsaws
- Operate wood chipper
- Haul brush
- Carry wood/logs
- Drive a company vehicle from the shop to the job site
AND/OR
Responsibilities as a Groundsman:
- Operate chainsaws
- Operate wood chipper
- Haul brush
- Carry wood/logs
- Rope limbs and safely secure them on the ground
- Ensure the job site is free of debris
- Drive a company vehicle from the shop to the job site
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Know how to properly run a chainsaw
- Willingness to work 8+ hours per day (OT pay given)
- Must show up on time to work every day. Days off need to be told in advance.
Skills:
- Understanding the danger of this occupation.
- Being able to properly and effectively communicate with others when earmuffs are on you cannot hear someone.
- Being aware of one's surroundings and watching for falling limbs, logs, etc.
- Able to handle yourself in a high-tension situations
Desired:
- Certified Arborist
- CDL
- Up-to-date CPR certification

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
