Project Manager Roles and Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage on-site construction team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Project Estimation and Budgeting: Utilize your expertise to accurately estimate and budget projects, ensuring cost effective solutions.
- Client Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with potential customers/clients, representing Huff Construction with professionalism and integrity.
- Meeting Management: Create agendas and schedule meetings with owners/ subcontractors, effectively coordinating project activities.
- Schedule Adherence: Follow project schedules diligently, ensuring that projects are fully staffed, and deadlines are met.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction process, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
- Inspection Management: Manage the inspection process, ensuring that all necessary inspections are completed and documented
- Material Management: Properly manage long lead time materials, ensuring timely delivery and availability for project milestones.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness on site to create a safe working environment.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records using tools such as PlanGrid, RFPs, and RFIs, facilitating efficient project management and communication.
Key Qualifications:
- 3+ yearsin commercial construction project management.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and/or industrial construction practices.
- Exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and stakeholder communication effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
