Experienced Drywall Technician – Finisher/Repair

Weyer Companies is looking for an experienced drywall professional who takes pride in the craft and wants steady, varied work without all the headaches that can come with chasing jobs or running them yourself.
This is not an entry-level or learn-the-trade position. A minimum of 2 years of professional drywall finishing experience is required.
The Work
Our drywall work isn't about hanging 500 sheets every day or racing through the same production work over and over. Our projects are varied, from repairs, patches and texture matching, to remodels, warranty work, and other residential and commercial projects.
We need someone who can look at a drywall problem and know how to solve it.
You should be comfortable working independently through the drywall process, including:
- Repairs, patches, hanging, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing
- Matching existing finishes and textures, including orange peel and knockdown
- Troubleshooting existing conditions and determining the right repair approach
- Producing clean, professional, paint-ready results
- Managing your work efficiently without sacrificing quality
If you’ve run your own drywall jobs, worked independently, or operated a small drywall business, that experience can translate especially well here.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of professional drywall finishing experience
- Valid, non-restricted driver’s license
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working at heights
- Dependable with a positive, team-focused mindset
