As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for managing the nutritional care and dietary planning for residents in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Your impact will include:

Conducting resident interviews and nutritional assessments
- Completing MDS Section K and related documentation
- Developing and updating nutrition care plans
- Collaborating with healthcare teams and participating in care conferences
- Advising food service staff on dietary protocols and patient needs
- Ensuring compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Participating in ongoing performance improvement initiatives
- Reviewing and applying current clinical nutrition research
- Orienting and mentoring interns or new staff when applicable
- Maintaining thorough and accurate clinical documentation
Experience and Credentials
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential or eligibility to obtain the following within 6 months
- Licensed or license-eligible in the State of Kentucky
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
Completion of 900 supervised practice hours under a Registered Dietitian

Ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and EMR systems
- Ability to analyze lab values and make clinical recommendations
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform occasional bending, reaching, or kneeling
Comfortable standing or sitting for extended periods
