Position Summary
The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) leads and grows relationships with key customers and partners to drive revenue expansion and long-term strategic value. This role serves as the primary liaison between customer Key Decision-Makers (KDMs) and Revcor, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver engineered airflow solutions that meet system requirements and enhance customer satisfaction.
The SAM is accountable for developing and executing account strategies, negotiating agreements, and driving profitable growth through disciplined planning and execution.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with revenue and growth targets
- Lead strategy development and business planning for designated key accounts
- Identify and capture new opportunities within existing accounts
- Serve as primary relationship owner with customer KDMs
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and support executive-level engagement
- Monitor account performance, forecast trends, and report to senior leadership
- Lead contract negotiations and manage commercial agreements
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, product management, marketing, and sales teams to deliver custom solutions
- Ensure engineered solutions meet customer system requirements
- Maintain accurate pipeline visibility within CRM (IFS)
- Support market analysis, competitive intelligence, and strategic initiatives
- Coordinate executive visits and key customer engagement activities
- Partner with outside manufacturing representatives on applicable accounts
- Drive knowledge-sharing and best practices across the key account network
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-5 years of proven track record selling engineered or technical solutions within manufacturing or HVAC industries
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear customer value
- Demonstrated success negotiating contracts and driving revenue growth
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders
- Strong business acumen, analytical capability, and forecasting skills
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems (IFS preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel approximately 40%
Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
