Pat's Service Center is a fully booked fleet repair shop specializing in the maintenance and repair of medium and heavy-duty trucks and commercial equipment. As our fleet business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Truck & Equipment Mechanic to join our team.

Truck & Equipment Mechanic
We're looking for an experienced mechanic who can diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair medium and heavy-duty trucks and commercial equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair medium and heavy-duty trucks and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections
- Diagnose electrical, drivability, and hydraulic issues
- Repair air brake, suspension, steering, cooling, and fuel systems
- Accurately document repairs and findings
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Valid NYS Inspector License required
- Own tools required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with diesel engines, air brakes, suspension, steering, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance
- Experience working on medium and heavy-duty trucks and equipment
- Class A CDL is a plus
- Experience with body work, painting, welding, fabrication, or sandblasting is a plus
