Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Batavia, Illinois
Pay: $30–$40 per hour
Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift
Schedule: 6 Days per Week (Saturday Guaranteed Overtime Paid at 1.5x)

A well establish manufacturing business in Batavia that is looking to add experienced Maintenance Technicians to their engineering team. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving production environment and wants stability, overtime, and room to grow within the company.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance across production and plant equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including working with PLC-controlled machinery (Allen Bradley experience highly beneficial).
- Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems used across manufacturing lines.
- Install, repair, and support a wide range of production equipment and machinery.
- Support large-scale equipment repairs when required and work with machine shop tools where necessary.
- Work closely with production teams to reduce downtime and keep operations running efficiently.
- Assist with mentoring less experienced technicians and help maintain strong safety and quality standards.
Type of Candidate We’re Looking For
- Proven experience working in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability
- Hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Experience working with automated or microprocessor-controlled machinery
- Background in plastics, injection moulding, blow moulding, or high-volume manufacturing is a strong advantage
- Proactive and reliable approach with the ability to work shifts and overtime when needed
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in equipment or industrial maintenance
- Multi-skilled maintenance background (mechanical/electrical preferred)
- Experience with PLC fault finding (Allen Bradley preferred)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with minimal supervision
