Full-Time | Pay Based on Experience
Well•Spring, A Life Plan Community, is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and creative Life Engagement Coordinator to join our Assisted Living team. In this role, you'll help create meaningful experiences for approximately 60 residents by planning and leading activities that promote social engagement, wellness, and quality of life.

This is a full-time position that typically works 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some evenings and weekends are required to support resident programs and special events, so flexibility is important.
- Plan and lead engaging group and one-on-one activities based on resident interests and abilities.
- Encourage resident participation and build meaningful relationships with residents and families.
- Create monthly activity calendars and coordinate special events.
- Document resident participation and progress in the electronic medical record.
- Transport residents to activities and community outings as needed.
- Assist residents who prefer or need in-room visits and activities.
- Help maintain activity supplies and program spaces.
- Supervise volunteers during activities.
- Sort and deliver resident mail.
- Collaborate with the care team to provide an exceptional resident experience.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least one year of experience in recreation, activities, senior living, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Recreation Therapy degree or certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to transport residents safely during activities and outings.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Push wheelchairs and assist residents during activities.
- Lift activity supplies and packages.
- Climb step stools or ladders when decorating for seasonal events.
- Complete required CPR and emergency response training.
