At Primrose School of Fairfax, we are a premier early childhood education center dedicated to nurturing curiosity, confidence, and compassion through our Balanced Learning® approach. We are seeking caring, dependable Infant and Toddler Teachers to join our growing team.
Position Overview
As an Infant/Toddler Teacher, you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for our youngest learners. You will implement our established Balanced Learning® curriculum (lesson plans are provided), allowing you to focus on what matters most, building strong relationships and supporting each child’s development.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, nurturing care to infants and toddlers
- Implement daily lesson plans and classroom schedule (no lesson planning required)
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- Support children’s social-emotional development through positive guidance
- Ensure active supervision and compliance with licensing standards
- Communicate with families regarding daily activities and progress
- Collaborate with leadership and team members
Qualifications
- Experience working with infants or toddlers in a childcare or preschool setting preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, professional, and positive attitude
- CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Must be available between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
