Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Supervisor to oversee the food service operations within our healthcare or assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of clinical nutrition, food safety, and management principles. As a Dietary Supervisor, you will lead the dietary team, ensure compliance with health regulations, and develop care plans that support residents' nutritional needs. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and patient-centered service.
Duties
- Supervise daily food service operations, ensuring adherence to health regulation policies and food safety management standards.
- Supervise , manage and coordinate the dietary department’s staff, providing supervision, training, and leadership to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Supervise food production processes, meal preparation, and presentation aligned with clinical nutrition guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with food service health code regulations.
- Supervise budget management activities including purchasing and inventory
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
- Stay informed about health regulation policies and integrate best practices into daily operations to promote a safe dining environment for residents and staff.
Experience
- Proven experience in dietary supervision within healthcare settings, with a strong background in supervising food service teams.
- Demonstrated knowledge of clinical nutrition, physiology, dietetics, and care plan development tailored to diverse resident needs.
- Supervising experience in food production, food safety management, and compliance with health codes is essential.
- Experience with budget management, inventory control, and food service management systems such as EMR/EHR platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
