Duties
- Assemble products by following detailed work instructions and specifications using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials and components around the manufacturing facility.
- Conduct quality checks during assembly to ensure products meet company standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency on the assembly line.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking parts and finished goods within the warehouse setting.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on assembly processes and potential efficiencies.
Skills
- Proven experience in factory or manufacturing environments, with a strong understanding of assembly processes.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings or instructions.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and assembly line equipment effectively.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery (certification preferred).
- Familiarity with manufacturing facility safety standards and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity for precise assembly tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
