️What You'll Do
As a Production Assistant, you'll help ensure food and baked goods are prepared safely, efficiently, and according to Willow Valley Communities quality standards. Responsibilities include:

Making Soups, Stocks, and Gravy

Following proper temperatures, pumping speeds, and agitator speeds while operating the 100-gallon kettle
-
Cleaning the kettle between batches using water spray and other approved cleaning methods
-
Preparing food items according to standardized recipes
-
Prepping desserts, baking items, salads, vegetables, and accurately measuring ingredients
-
Assisting with last-minute production sheet changes
-
Organizing daily tasks to ensure all preparation and cleaning duties are completed on time

Assisting with rotating casing racks
-
Helping complete preparation for the following day

Dating, rotating, and properly storing leftover foods
-
Maintaining proper sanitation and cleanliness throughout the kitchen and related areas
-
Cleaning and sanitizing equipment
-
Recording temperatures of walk-in refrigerators and freezers
-
Following Willow Valley Communities HACCP plan and Food Safety policies and procedures
-
Assisting with finishing baked goods
-
Assisting making soups
-
Assisting with vacuum sealing and sous vide cooking
-
Performing other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For

High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

A professional, neat, and clean appearance

A positive attitude, engaging personality, enthusiasm, and energy!

Full-Time | 40 hours per week
