HIRING COMPANY CDL-CLASS A DRIVERS
Company Information:
Voyager Trucking Corporation is a waste hauling company that specializes in the transportation and brokerage of municipal solid waste, construction, and demolition, biosolids, mulch and recyclables; from transfer stations and manufacturing facilities to landfills and incinerators in the northeast corridor. We are currently looking to hire company class A drivers in the Jersey City, Newark and Elizabeth area.
Driver Duties and Responsibilities
- Tipper trailer experience a PLUS
- Transports municipal solid waste, construction, and demolition
- Local run 150 air-mile exemption
- No Touch Freight/No handling of materials
- Local/Home daily
Driver Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A license) with a clean driving record.
- Experience in route driving and operating independently.
- Must have a clean MVR , PSP and Clearinghouse report.
- Must have an active medical card, pass a road test and drug test.
- Must have the ability to climb a ladder and operate a tarping system.
- Must have 2 years experience minimally.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining logs and records.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,500.00 - $1,900.00 per week
