We're hiring Installation Technicians to work with Cat5/Cat6 Coax.
No previous telecom experience required, but it's a BIG PLUS!
This is a Comission-based job! Weekly pay ranges from $1,500-$1,800.
You MUST HAVE your own WHITE COLOR vehicle that is able to carry a 28ft ladder.
Responsibilities:
- Running cables from poles and inside the house (including climbing poles and working in basements).
- Verifying signal levels on cable outlets.
- Providing TV, Internet, and Phone services for our customers.
- Installing equipment (modems, cable boxes).
- Troubleshooting.
- Use hand tools and specialized equipment.
- Follow telecom industry standards, safety protocols, and quality control guidelines.
- Accurately complete and close out work orders, job documentation, and reporting systems.
- Provide customer service, including explaining installed services and equipment usage.
Requirements:
- Your own WHITE COLOR VAN, MINIVAN or PICKUP TRUCK able to carry a 28ft on the top with a ladder rack.
- Previous experience as a cable technician, low voltage or related (preferably, but not necessarily).
- Active driver’s license.
- Valid Social Security Number.
- iPhone or iPad (Doesn't need to be brand new).
- Tools - We can provide a tools list after the 1st interview.
- Conversational English (other languages are welcome but not required).
- Ability to pass a drug test.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to carry heavy objects (such as a 28-foot ladder).
Schedule:
Pay and Benefits:
- 1099 Contractor position (no taxes deducted).
- Paid based on production (per completed job).
- Average weekly pay: $1,300–$1,800.
- Payments issued weekly by check (after a 3-week initial processing).
- Max. 10 jobs per day.
- 2 weeks of shadowing training (if you don't have exp).
