Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Operate floor buffers and other specialized machinery to maintain floor care standards
- Handle chemical agents safely, following all safety protocols and handling instructions
- Conduct manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy objects, moving furniture, or equipment with proper techniques to prevent injury
- Execute custodial duties including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and sanitizing high-touch areas
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects and facilities maintenance tasks as needed
- Follow safety procedures during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on commercial or industrial settings
- Knowledge of chemical agent handling and safe lifting practices
- Familiarity with floor buffers, buffing techniques, and overall floor care maintenance
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique
- Experience with residential painting or general facilities maintenance is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
