We are searching for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable brass instrument repair technician to join our team. The technician’s primary responsibilities include repairing band instrument repair and checking repair quality. You should be well-organized, flexible, a problem solver, and willing to assist wherever needed.

Specific responsibilities include:
- Efficiently contributing to our repair function, primarily on brass instruments, while also learning and assisting with other aspects of the company such as the sale and rental of instruments and accessories, as needed.
- Performing estimates on instrument repair jobs
- Check the quality of repairs and instruments from both our suppliers and our own repair department.
- Helping with shop upkeep and cleaning of the tools, facility, and workflow.
- Keeping a log of all instruments repaired
- Attending regular shop meetings and contributing to the discussion of how we can improve the shop and and business as a whole
- Observing health and safety procedures.
- Teach Repair Associates in the shop instrument basic repair and cleaning techniques
- Delegate appropriate tasks to apprentices and shop assistants
- Building professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
